History


The business commenced operation in October 1985 offering design, installation and commissioning of CCTV, security monitoring, fire engineering, emergency evacuation, fire safety and security training and specialist fire and security installations.

In 1994 the company changed focus to a management consultancy service in competency standards development and fire risk management.

The introduction of the performance based Building Code of Australia provided an opportunity to expand services to encompass the fire engineering field.

 


Recently International Fire Protection Pty Ltd has expanded the activities to included emergency evacuation, education, training and recording. This enabled IFP to deliver a package of Internet based products in the building emergency evacuation procedure area and recording service for building evacuation maintenance, to satisfy the requirements of Australian Standard 3785 and Australian Standard AS 1851.

IFP is a Corporate Member of Fire Protection Association Australia (Member 2101), is a Code of Practice Compliant Company with FPA Australia.

As a dynamic consultancy we are committed to our clients’ success. Our consulting approach is based on the application of key principles, which optimises outcomes for our clients on their specific project.
